Named after that beloved, world-famous aviatrix who got lost trying to find
an island -- Amelia's Landing hotel will provide you with a unique and enjoyable
lodging experience in Port Aransas on Mustang Island.
We have the most (and best)
amenities of any hotel in Port Aransas -- at prices that no one can beat! Whether you're looking for a weekend sampler, a weeklong feast, or an entire
winter on the island, our aviation themed hotel will fill your every lodging
need. We are within walking distance of every
bar, restaurant, and live-music venue in Port Aransas, as well as the beach, the
docks, and the nature preserve.
Our Hotel
We are centrally located in Port Aransas, Texas. In fact, the
numbering system for the city starts at our front door.
Amelia's Landing has been
extensively renovated since we purchased it in 2010. Always a
work-in-progress, the hotel may never actually be "finished", as we are
continually adding aviation artwork and memorabilia appropriate to the different eras of
aviation history.
Everything has been upgraded, from the landscaping to the high-definition
televisions. If you can imagine it in a hotel room, it is probably there
-- we haven't been able to think of anything else to add to the rooms!
We are family-owned, family-operated, and we do all of the renovations
ourselves. There is no "corporate office" to deal with -- it's just Jay
and Mary Honeck, and a small, hand-picked staff behind the desk.

Each of our rooms is decorated to reflect a unique era of aviation history,
from the Wright Brothers to the modern era, making each stay in our hotel a unique
experience. Stay in a different era every time you visit!
We refuse to do things like other hotels. We have designed everything
in our hotel to address OUR pet peeves about traveling. As a result, you
will never find a magnetic swipe key lock, nor will you receive
poor-quality baked goods in your breakfast. We will never
overbook, and we will hold your reservation all night long.
In short, we do things differently than the other hotels. We do it the
way YOU would want it done. Come see what it's like to be treated right,
